I know, new blog, why? Well, to be honest, I never really dug the old one. I just didn't feel at home there. I know this is the same host, same place, etc. But, I'm only human and therefore entitled to my own kind of insanity, so here I am.
I really hope to post here frequently, but life has been, I can't even begin to tell you how, crazy busy in the last few months. I started college in August and am happy to report that I have done VERY well, better than I thought I was capable of. We started the kids school in September and its going OK... I have to remind myself to be flexible and just be proud of small accomplishments every day, not looking at the day as a whole, but moment to moment.
I have been coaching 30 5 and 6 year old children in soccer this fall. 30. Thirty. Three Oh. They are wild, funny, and all around awesome. I love them all so much, I will be so sad when the season is over. Aside from a select couple of parents it has been worth every second of my time. If you've coached little kids or any kids for that matter, you know how dealing with parents can be. You call on a Saturday morning to cancel the because of rain and they act like you have the wrong number. More immature than their kids, that's for damn sure. You have to feel bad for the kid, really.
We're getting a new car soon...Soon is relative, hopefully next week, but I'm guessing the week after. It all hinges on when my parents get their new car because we bought their old one. Its a 2004 Chevy Tahoe, the nicest vehicle I'll have ever owned and I am SO SO SO excited! Jake has already threatened me with divorce if I get it dirty, so someone better remind me to get it cleaned up. LOL
Our new mission is to save some moolah to spend Christmas with our amazing friends in South Carolina. I haven't seen my "sister" and the Godbolt crew in WAY too long, its been a year and a 1/2. And I am itching to see them. I hope we can work it out somehow. I'm wishin and hopin.
I guess that is a quick run down of our last couple months. Not much else going on. I'm going to try to update this every few days and I think of things worthy of being on here.
